Michael Blanchard, a 42-year-old male from Port Arthur, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on September 29, 2015. The incident occurred during an argument over a drug deal. Blanchard was sitting in the backseat of a vehicle when Logan Wayne Carter, a 20-year-old passenger in the front seat, produced a handgun and fired multiple shots at him. Blanchard was unarmed at the time. His body was later found behind a business on Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur.
