Layne Dorothy Spicer, a 16-year-old girl from Philadelphia, PA, tragically died on March 31, 1975. Her death was part of a series of murders involving young women in the mid-1970s, often referred to as the Tinicum Marsh Murders. Layne, along with three other young women�Mary Ann Lees, Denise Seaman, and Debra Jean Delozier�were found shot to death in the Tinicum Marsh or Schuylkill River areas. Despite extensive investigations, the killers were never caught or prosecuted.
