Quron Williams, a 19-year-old male from Philadelphia, died on April 9, 2016, after an encounter that began on the 5700 block of Park Avenue in the Fern Rock area of North Philadelphia. Police said the incident unfolded around 2:20 p.m. when Williams allegedly robbed an elderly man at gunpoint. At that same time, off-duty Philadelphia SWAT Officer Erik Bullock, described in reports as a 19-year police veteran, was nearby and saw what was happening.
