On the evening of Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of North 17th Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Shawn Lewis suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival.
