On a Saturday morning, October 24, 2020, the body of 21-year-old Joseph Konneh, a Black male, was discovered in the rear yard of a residence on the 8000 block of Lyons Street in the Eastwick section of Philadelphia. A homeowner made the grim find around 9:45 a.m. and immediately alerted the authorities.
