In the winter of 2021, a burst of gunfire on a North Philadelphia street tragically cut short the life of a young man. Richard Weldon, a 23-year-old male, was the victim of a fatal shooting on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 10, 2021. The incident unfolded on the 3500 block of North Warnock Street, where Weldon was struck in the back of the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
