On a summer afternoon in North Union Township, Pennsylvania, the life of Michael Cole DeBeary, a 32-year-old man from Connellsville, was cut short by an act of violence. On August 20, 2021, DeBeary was fatally shot at the Meridian Point Apartments on Confer Vista Drive. The incident, which unfolded around 12:30 p.m., is reported to have stemmed from an altercation involving two other men.
Responding to the scene, Pennsylvania State Police found that DeBeary had succumbed to his injuries.
