Everett H. Williams, 49, a Black / African American male, died after a late-night shooting in North Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Police were called to the 2700 block of North Garnet Street around 10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. after gunfire broke out on the block. When officers arrived, Williams was found lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but he died that night.
