Dajuan Jett, a 22-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed in the Logan section of the city in the early evening of Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Police said the shooting happened on the 900 block of West Rockland Street, where officers were called around 6:21 p.m. for a report of a person with a gun or a shooting. When they arrived, they found Jett suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
