On June 24, 2012, Brian J. Thompson, a 27-year-old white male from Cincinnati, OH, was tragically shot and killed at 2112 Storrs Street. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Thompson was caught in the crossfire of a street robbery. Witnesses reported seeing two men with guns approach Thompson's car, ultimately shooting him in the face. Thompson's fianc�e, Stacy Harbstreit, witnessed the shooting and described the harrowing experience of seeing her fianc� killed in front of her.
