Vershawn Shang Davis Sr., a 40-year-old African American man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on November 25, 2014. Known affectionately as 'Braidss' to his friends and family, Davis Sr. was a certified welder and a loving father to his daughters, LaVaudia A. Davis and Shayanna Davis, and sons, Vershawn S. Davis Jr. and Luchene S. Davis. He was also engaged to his fianc�e, Symphony Black, and had a close-knit family that included his mother, Shirley A. Payne, and several siblings.
