Derrick Fischer, a 32-year-old man from Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on May 23, 2022. He was found in the basement of a residence in the 1000 block of Cole Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities received a call about the shooting late Monday night, and upon arrival, they pronounced him dead at the scene. The Summit County Medical Examiner�s Office and the Akron Police Department are investigating the homicide.
