Hilda Tipton Fisher Cody, a 64-year-old retired school teacher from Marshall, North Carolina, passed away on December 6, 2013. She was born on September 14, 1949, in Buncombe County and had taught at Brush Creek Elementary School for 27 years. Hilda was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church in Arden and was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Tipton, her husband, John R. Fisher, and her brother, Ted Tipton.
