Virgil Anderson, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 12, 2021, in Calumet City, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the first block of Dawn Lane. According to the Cook County medical examiner�s office, Anderson was struck multiple times and was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
