Laresha Bowles, a 36-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed in Dolton, Illinois, on April 18, 2021. The incident occurred around 2:10 a.m. in the 14200 block of Ellis Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner�s office, Laresha Bowles was shot in the back and was pronounced dead at Ingalls Memorial Hospital at approximately 3:05 a.m. An autopsy confirmed that she died from a gunshot wound to her back, and her death was ruled a homicide.
