Marvell Cunningham, a 15-year-old African American boy from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot and killed on October 14, 2021. The incident occurred inside a home in the Brainerd neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. At approximately 7:10 p.m., Marvell was inside a residence on the 9300 block of South Wallace Avenue when an unknown assailant shot him in the head.
