Juan Nandi, a 22-year-old man from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2022. Juan, who was of Hispanic descent, was walking with his fianc�e in the Albany Park neighborhood when two masked gunmen approached them and opened fire. Juan heroically shielded his fianc�e, taking multiple gunshots to his body, which ultimately led to his death. His fianc�e, a 20-year-old woman, was shot in the leg but survived the attack.
