In the late hours of Christmas Day in 2015, the festive spirit in a Savannah, Georgia neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunshots and a subsequent car crash. Randy Thomas Hooks, a 53-year-old man, was discovered deceased in his pickup truck which had struck two other vehicles and a tree at the intersection of Reynolds and East 40th streets.
