In the late hours of a March night in 2019, the life of 31-year-old JaMichael Jarrod Walker, a Black male from Swainsboro, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On March 27th, sometime around midnight, law enforcement responded to a call of a gunshot victim at a business known as Gilley's on Gumlog Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered Walker lying outside, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
