In the early morning hours of a Sunday in November 2020, a distressing call came into the Gwinnett County police department. On the other end of the line was 30-year-old Ahmed Kadhim, a male resident of Norcross, Georgia, who stated that he had been shot inside his apartment at the Estates at 1700 complex on Tree House Parkway.
