Jaquan �Crazy� Montgomery, a 21-year-old Black man from Atlanta, was killed on August 4, 2021, in a shooting at the Forest Cove apartments in southeast Atlanta. Late that Wednesday night, officers were called to the 300 block of Thomasville Boulevard at about 9:40 p.m. and found him with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital, but he did not survive.
