In the evening hours of January 19, 2022, a sense of normalcy was shattered on Wren Avenue in Macon, Georgia, when gunfire erupted, forever altering the lives of two families. 15-year-old Carmelo Ross, a male student of the Bibb County Public School System, was standing outside a house with another 15-year-old male when a car reportedly drove by and multiple shots were fired in their direction.
