In the early evening of October 8, 2022, a domestic disturbance in Macon, Georgia, escalated into a violent encounter that left 56-year-old Tommy Williams dead. Bibb County Sheriff's deputies were initially called to a residence in the 1400 block of Bailey Avenue around 6:48 p.m. regarding a domestic situation. While on their way, they received another report of a second person shot in the 3100 block of Napier Avenue. At each location, deputies discovered a male suffering from gunshot wounds.
