In the winter of 2022, the city of Valdosta, Georgia, was rocked by a violent shooting that claimed the life of 27-year-old Toccaro Beyonta Sims. On the evening of Friday, December 16th, law enforcement and emergency responders were dispatched to the Ora Lee West apartments on East Ann Street following a 911 call about multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
