Taurean Djuan Pitts, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on August 2, 2014, in Jacksonville, Florida. Pitts was found with a fatal gunshot wound at the Canterbury Gardens Apartments located at 1591 S Lane Ave. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately treated as a homicide by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the identity of the suspect or suspects involved in Pitts' murder remains unknown.
