Guadalupe Urquilla, a 33-year-old construction worker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2016. The incident occurred outside the Shop-N-Save Mini Mart at 1014 NW Fifth Ave. Urquilla had just exchanged a $100 bill for smaller denominations when he was approached by a teenager, Zavion Seed Alahad, who attempted to rob him. According to witnesses, a struggle ensued between Urquilla and Alahad, during which Alahad pulled out a gun and fired at least three times.
