Miguel Padron, a 52-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on April 7, 2014, near Kittridge Street and Bakman Avenue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Padron was walking in the area when he was shot. The incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m., and Padron was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:05 a.m. Padron, who was known in the community and was homeless, was affectionately referred to as "Cuba" by those who knew him.
