Miguel Padron, a 52-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on April 7, 2014, near Kittridge Street and Bakman Avenue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Padron was walking in the area when he was shot. The incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m., and Padron was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:05 a.m. Padron, who was known in the community and was homeless, was affectionately referred to as "Cuba" by those who knew him.
