Uimaitua Fernando Brooks, a 43-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on April 27, 2015. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Brooks was shot in the 1800 block of South Longwood Avenue in Mid-City. The incident occurred shortly before midnight, and police responded to a call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a man holding Brooks in the street. Despite their efforts, Brooks was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:03 a.m. on April 28.
