Luther Bernard Magee, a 47-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on July 8, 2015, in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Magee was walking east on West 77th Street when a dark sedan approached him. A person exited the vehicle and opened fire, fatally wounding Magee. He was pronounced dead on the sidewalk at 3:56 a.m. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing the vehicle speed away from the scene.
