Jose Fernando Pineda, a 30-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 22, 2015, in San Pedro, Los Angeles, CA. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, the incident occurred in the 300 block of West 13th Street. Pineda was walking down the street when he was chased by an individual armed with a gun. The assailant fired at Pineda, who lived in the area, and he was subsequently pronounced dead at a hospital at 12:41 a.m. the following day.
