Alex Antonio Melendez, a 28-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on March 24, 2016, in Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Melendez was shot in the 1200 block of Menlo Avenue in the Pico-Union area.
