Samuel Cuevas, a 46-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on May 15, 2016, in the 8000 block of Langdon Avenue in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, the incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon.
