Carlos Velasquez, a 22-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on July 10, 2017, in Compton, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Velasquez was shot in the 1900 block of West 156th Street. On the night of July 9, Velasquez and his friend, Antonio Banda, 23, were visiting someone at the Westland Village Mobile Home Park.
