Michael Ali Hammonds, a 20-year-old aspiring rap singer from Hyde Park, was fatally shot on November 4, 2018, in the 16200 block of Hawthorne Boulevard in Lawndale, California. According to Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Hammonds was with his longtime friend Daevion Johnson, 21, and a group of others accompanying a neighborhood rapper who had rented space at a studio.
