On the evening of March 21, 2015, David Turner III was fatally wounded in a violent encounter in New Orleans. He and another man were seated in a vehicle in the 15500 block of Dwyer Road when an assailant armed with an AK-47 opened fire on them. The sudden and brutal attack resulted in the death of 35-year-old David Turner III, a male, and left the other man injured.
