Jose A. Munoz, a 26-year-old Hispanic man, was killed on the night of December 2, 2008, in Prince George�s County, Maryland. Late that evening�around 11:03 p.m.�gunfire erupted along the 5600 block of Landover Road, and he was the one who didn�t make it back home. What should have been an ordinary winter night ended in sudden violence, the kind that leaves behind flashing lights, cordoned-off pavement, and a silence that settles in only after the sirens fade.
