On November 25, 2016, 30-year-old Cesar Duarte was fatally shot in Fresno, California. The incident occurred just after midnight at a gas station on Fresno and B streets. Duarte and a 24-year-old man were in a car with two other individuals when someone opened fire from a nearby vehicle. Duarte was shot in the head and later died at Community Regional Medical Center on December 2. The gunfire erupted as they were pulling into the gas station to put air in the car's tires.
