Roderick Godfrey, age 19, was killed on November 28, 2016, in Oakland, California. The incident occurred in the 700 block of 39th Street in West Oakland at around 10:15 a.m. Roderick was one of two victims in this double shooting�his companion, Deante Miller, was also killed in the same incident. Godfrey died at the scene, while Miller succumbed to his injuries later at a hospital.
