On November 6, 2021, the Dovesville Community of Darlington, South Carolina, was shaken by a violent incident that claimed the life of a young local resident. James Lamont Bishop, a 20-year-old Black male, was the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred in Darlington County. Deputies from the Darlington County Sheriff�s Office responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discharge of firearms that ultimately led to the untimely death of the young man.
