On the afternoon of September 22, 2020, authorities in St. Louis County, Missouri, were alerted to a violent incident at Spanish Lake Park. Around 5:00 p.m., police officers responded to reports of gunfire within the public recreational area, located off Spanish Pond Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim, identified as 31-year-old Thomas Glenn Wiggins, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was found seated inside a truck parked on the premises.
