On February 15, 2021, nineteen-year-old Jakob Cole was fatally shot in a residential area southwest of Columbia, Missouri. The incident occurred in the evening within the 4700 block of West Millbrook Drive, where officers from the Boone County Sheriff�s Department responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Cole suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
