Hey everyone, I've been following Regina's case closely, and something about her luggage is really bothering me. Apparently, her suitcase was checked in ahead of her flight, but there's very little information on what happened to it afterwards. Did it make the full trip back or was it just sitting somewhere at the airport? It seems strange for someone to check their luggage but not board the flight. I can literally only find this website and her missing persons page on namus and both contain extremely limited information. I was looking further into the case and saw a few updates: The biggest development is that the case moved into federal court as United States v. Chavarria / United States v. Romero. Federal prosecutors charged Romero and Chavarria with kidnapping resulting in death under 18 U.S.C. § 1201(a). We often focus so much on one victim that we forget the complex networks and relationships surrounding these tragic events. Has anyone been following the details surrounding the AR-15 used in the tragic event on Timmons Street? I was Jarvis’s girlfriend at the time we were together for 6 years. The courts/jury ruled it as self defense and all charges were dropped. His killer Curtis Kasinger still walks the streets of Seminole strung out on drugs and beats his current girlfriend up all the time.
