I've been following the tragic case of Joe David Estrada, and something that’s really been on my mind is the impact this senseless loss has had on his family and friends. Reading their online tributes, it's clear how loved he was. It makes you think about the vibrant person beyond the headlines and crime reports—a father, son, or friend whose life was cut short. I can't even begin to comprehend the pain his loved ones are facing during this time. Being caught in this nightmare while the case... ...View Post & Comment

Hey everyone,I've been following Daniel Croft's case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of digital trails. Normally, in today's world, having no phone or vehicle really complicates searches, right? I'm curious if anyone knows if he was a regular at any local spots or if he had a routine. Sometimes, people can leave clues in the most mundane daily habits. Also, does anyone think this could've been a planned disappearance considering these factors? Just throwing thoughts... ...View Post & Comment

In 1994, he escaped from Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center in New York alongside another convicted killer, John Casablanca. During the escape, the pair reportedly took a hospital employee hostage before releasing him unharmed. Authorities warned the public that both men were dangerous, and the manhunt ended about a week later when they were captured in Brooklyn.... ...View Post & Comment

I’ve been following the case of Christopher Corey, and I find it deeply unsettling how Caleb Fernandez has evaded charges despite being a person of interest. It's concerning to think about how someone could be involved in such a brutal crime and not face justice yet. The fact that Fernandez is still out there, while Christopher’s family is desperate for closure, must be incredibly painful for them. I can’t imagine the frustration they’re feeling, especially when there seems to be evidenc... ...View Post & Comment

I knew Chris since we were kids and I think about him a lot around certain dates. Naples is a small town, particularly if you were born or grew up here. There’s the have, the have nots, those who pretend, and those with kids. Chris and Caleb are adult children if have nots, and that’s about all they have in common. Chris would be the guy who would give you a lift if your car broke down and Caleb was the guy who would rob you instead. I’m here because I want justice for my cousin. Caleb was... ...View Post & Comment

Is there a lot of fear of retaliation in that neighborhood? That might be the reason there has been so little information provided. I am also hoping the police department is keeping information quiet to not tip off the people responsible for this. One can hope.... ...View Post & Comment

Has anyone else been following the trial of Damani Thomas for the murder of Aboubacar Fofana? I can't stop thinking about the moment Thomas was arrested right at the courthouse. It’s chilling to think of someone walking into a place meant for justice but being a suspect in such a serious crime. I imagine Aboubacar's family must feel a strange mix of emotions, knowing the person accused of taking their loved one away was apprehended in such a public setting. It makes you wonder what goes on in ... ...View Post & Comment

Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings in the Aboubacar Fofana case? I can’t imagine the pain his family must be experiencing, especially knowing how beloved he was in the community. It seems like the trial is bringing up so many crucial points about gun violence and how persistent gang activities can be in areas of Brooklyn. I'm particularly interested in how Damani Thomas's extensive criminal history will play into the trial. Given his 20 prior arrests, it seems like the justic... ...View Post & Comment
