I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Quintin Mack. It's so difficult to comprehend how someone so young could have their life cut short in such a violent way. As a parent myself, I can't even begin to imagine the heartache his family must be feeling. The memorial outside Phat Phish Caf is a testament to how much Quintin was loved and how deeply this has affected the community. Seeing the tributes and flowers there reminded me of how important it is to cherish every moment ... ...View Post & Comment

I'm just devastated reading about Jakayvin Jones. I can't stop thinking how terrifying it must have been for him in those last moments. The idea that someone out there still hasn't been held accountable for such a tragic end is beyond unsettling. It's also concerning that the apartment complex had been such a hotspot for trouble, including another recent shooting. Makes you wonder about the security there and if things could've been different if safety measures had been increased. My heart goes ... ...View Post & Comment

I'm new to these forums and just reading through some of these cases reminds me of how fragile life can be. I was particularly struck by the case of Curtis Lee McCollum. It's just unsettling to think that someone like Curtis, who seemed to live a life dedicated to family, community, and work, could meet such a violent end. Im curious if anyone knows whether there's been any talk about improving safety measures for cab drivers since Curtiss and Richard Webb's deaths. I know these tragic inciden... ...View Post & Comment

Did anyone else catch that Rhonda was actively working with both rodeo and animal rescue organizations? While the investigation is still unfolding, I found myself thinking about the kind of person she was beyond the headlines. Anyone who has been involved in either of those communities knows they demand a deep level of commitment and compassion. It's really telling of her character and the values she must have held close to be so dedicated to those causes. For her to have tragically lost her life... ...View Post & Comment
The KEY that got me heavy involved in the church. We just witnessed a church get burn down The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints. What is NEVER talked about is DIVORCE and how it rips families apart. I can remember a family in Oregon who was going through a divorce and the ex-husband was with his children and went to go to a 7-11 store and his father-in-law shot in front of the store and in front of his kids. I personally have gone through a similar situation, and it amazes me that I a... ...View Post & Comment
There are many peculiar details surrounding the disappearance of Shayne Bassett. (he went by Shayne) The cardboard box his son was found in at the state house in Massachusetts just being one of them. The location of where his son was placed has always felt intentional and specific to his family. Shayne would not have left his son in a cardboard box in a diaper with only a towel wrapped around him in early April. This was Easter Sunday fyi for everyone to consider. Shayne was reported missi... ...View Post & Comment
Thank you for sharing this, and Im so sorry for what your family has carried all these years. The Easter timing, the location at the State House, and the lost case file are heartbreaking and important context. If anyone reading this remembers anything from that Easter weekend in 1977Franklin, NH or near the MA State Houseplease come forward. Has anyone else been closely following the updates on the Jalante Brown case? I find myself thinking a lot about his friends and how they must feel. It's already tough enough losing someone so young, but when it's under such tragic circumstances, it seems even more unbearable. I remember reading that Jalante was involved in a lot of school activities; he seemed like he had such a bright future ahead. It's hard not to wonder what his friends are going through right now. Theyve lost not just a fr... ...View Post & Comment
I was a very close friend to Tae. The reason on why Lord killed him is still uncertain. I was told it was over a girl and then I heard it was an accident. I will never get over losing him. Im so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing a little about Tae and what youre going through. I've been following the case of Johnathon Cruz closely and something that's been bugging me is how often people overlook the impact of such incidents on the friends who witnessed it. Seriously, how terrifying must it have been for those who were there that night? It's unimaginable. From what I've gathered, Puckett had a history of reckless behavior with firearms, which makes me wonder if his friends were on edge every time they hung out with him. It's easy for us on the outside to question why a... ...View Post & Comment

I've been following the William Hale case closely, and something that really stands out to me is the immense pressure Charles must have been under that day. It's hard for me to imagine being in a situation where you feel compelled to act in self-defense against your own parent. This isn't just a legal case; it's a deep family tragedy that has left a permanent mark on everyone involved. One thing that's really been on my mind is how the community is processing all of this. Ive been following the case of William Michael Hale, and one aspect that really tugs at my heartstrings is how this must've impacted his sister, Ruth Hale Hunter. Losing a sibling is devastating enough, but in such violent circumstances, it must be incredibly difficult for her. From what I understand, they were close, and she'd moved back to Charlotte to be nearer to him after living elsewhere for a bit. I imagine shes leaning on the fond memories they shared growing up while trying to navigat... ...View Post & Comment

I've been thinking a lot about William Hale's sister, Ruth, and how this must be impacting her. I can only imagine the heartbreak of losing a brother under such dramatic circumstances. Not to mention, having to see her nephew, Charles, involved in such a traumatic event. Family dynamics are always tough, but this situation sounds especially challenging. I hope Ruth can find the support and strength she needs during this time. It seems like William was such a respected member of the community, an... ...View Post & Comment

I've been following the case of Tyler Baird's tragic passing, and I can't stop thinking about how senseless and devastating this act of violence is. Tylers loss is felt not just by his family and friends but by the entire Lancaster community. Hey everyone, I've been following the Elkinton case and I find it so puzzling. I was thinking about the open can of beer and his cigarettes found at the scene. If Elkinton was planning on going anywhere, it seems unlikely he would leave them behind, especially since they were open. This makes me wonder if his leaving was more spontaneous than premeditated. I'm also curious about the timing of his plans to go to Alaska. Was it an immediate idea, or something he was planning for the future? If he ... ...View Post & Comment

He did tell all the people he talked to about his plans to move to Alaska. But he didn\'t take his clothes, side by side, 4 wheeler, or the trailer he bought to haul his atv\'s. There has never really been much of an investigation when it comes to my father\'s disappearance. I know! There was a young man that got lost up on the same mountain about a year after my father disappeared and they had a helicopter, drones, people on horseback. And 4 wheelers. And they found him after he haf only been l... ...View Post & Comment

So I know sinar, he is a good friend of my room mate. He was at my house on hillside some time before his dissapearance. Him and his girl friend stayed a couple nights with us and when they left I dropped his girl off at an RV (that allegedly was to become theirs) behind the subway near Dowling and Old Seward and I dropped him off at the mission (shelter) just down the street a ways, and he was supposed to walk back to said rv when he finished whatever at the shelter. Hey everyone,The part of this heartbreaking case that's really sticking with me is the timing of everything. I can't help but wonder about the impact of this all happening on Mothers Day. Hey everyone,I've been following the Leonard Peverieri case pretty closely, and something thats been on my mind is the role Judge Bethany Powers Flint played right after the murder. I've been following the case of Dawn Vera Kovach and something that's been nagging at me is the role of the anonymous tip that led to Mattixs arrest. I can't help but think about the brave person who called it in.
