Has anyone found more info about the connection between Mercey-Marie Brasher and David Gilbert Colvin? It’s so hard to wrap my head around the randomness of this tragedy. The officials mention robbery as the motive, but there's got to be more to the story, right? It seems unlikely that a robbery would escalate to such extreme violence without some kind of history or link between them. My heart truly goes out to her loved ones who are seeking answers and trying to make sense of this senseless a... ...View Post & Comment
I know this is already a few years old, but she\'s been on my mind lately, so I\'d like to offer some insight. She deserves justice. She was a good kid, who got caught up w the wrong crowd. Her so called boyfriend, the other \'victim\' in the shooting, was a part of setting this all up. No real reason, besides he wanted her to do something, she didn\'t want to do. She was an easy victim. Not from the streets. Not involved w gangs. But her intelligence was attractive to these scumbags. The guy wh... ...View Post & Comment
Thank you for this enlightened account of what happened. What kind of psychopath potentially sets this kind of thing up and why? There is no reason for this. I appreciate your candor. Hopefully the truth will come out someday. ... ...View Post & Comment
I was the leasing agent at the apartment complex where it occurred. I was the first civilian responder, and there isn’t a single day that goes by that I don’t think of him. I just want closure and justice for his family. I don’t want to be disrespectful by sharing the details of that morning, but please if anyone knows what happened to the girl that pulled the trigger, please, come forward.... ...View Post & Comment
That must have been a horrific day. I hope there is closure for his family someday.... ...View Post & Comment
This was a bad situation to start with. There should never have been a situation a step brother and step sister share a small little cabin especially at that age. I know the parents weren\'t thinking of that and that was a tragic mistake. I wonder if there were any indications of possible problems before this that was overlooked by family.... ...View Post & Comment
Wow, this case is really tough to unravel, and my heart goes out to everyone involved, especially Darren's family who must be processing so much right now. I was thinking about the role family dynamics might have played here. It seems there was a lot of tension even before Darren showed up at his ex-sister-in-law’s place. It’s like this tragic event was a boiling point for this family. I can't help but wonder if there were any past incidents that hinted things might escalate like this. It’... ...View Post & Comment

Any suggestion on who to contact higher up and put some light on this story. Of course everyone wants to paint a picture and look behind the truth. I could almost bet my life jury will convict. Any suggestion? ... ...View Post & Comment
You may want to contact local media, the DA’s office, the sheriff’s office public information officer, or a state representative’s office to ask who can review or bring attention to the case. I’d recommend keeping the message focused on facts, records, timelines, and unanswered questions rather than assumptions about the outcome. That usually gets taken more seriously.... ...View Post & Comment

Sat with da office few times, last time I even brought more evidence and they didn\'t want to look at it and said not pursuing case their things was in Louisiana has stand your ground law. They new my brother and he did yard work for them this murder has a lot of moving components and 3 different motives but I can assure it was intentional with solicitation on his mother\'s part.i think if were the chance for trial with all the evidence there would be two people convicted. I guess telling the st... ...View Post & Comment

This was so horrific. How do we allow these young men to fall through the cracks and we can\'t get them the help they need? I just don\'t understand anymore and we are all getting desensitized to these mass shootings like it is normal, like we should accept it. I don\'t accept it.... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone else been thinking about the circumstances surrounding the boy who accidentally discharged the gun that led to Hope Fair’s tragic passing? I’ve read that Hope's family showed an incredible amount of compassion and understanding towards the boy and his family, which must have been so difficult amidst their own grief. It’s just a reminder of how complex these situations can be—while justice needs to be served, this boy has to live with the knowledge of what happened for the rest... ...View Post & Comment

Anyone would struggle with that tragedy in your past. How can you reconcile that? I hope he gets help to deal with the trauma of that event. Not in any way was it ok and also he was a child, with a child\'s brain that hadn\'t fully developed. May he find peace and put this incident into advocacy or something positive. ... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone else been following the details around Donnie Pitts Taylor’s murder? I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of Brewer's girlfriend, Jennifer Lynn Bensch, in the situation. She was there during such a tense and dangerous moment, and it's hard to imagine what led her to become involved in something so tragic. It seems like they both made a series of terrifying decisions that night. I wonder if there were any signs of trouble or distress in her life before this incident happened? It... ...View Post & Comment

I was reading about Jenny Diimmel's case, and something intrigues me about the fact that she left home with a lot of cash. It makes me wonder if she was planning a trip or meeting someone. It seems odd that there's no trace of where she or the money could have ended up. Has anyone heard if there was any surveillance footage checked from nearby businesses around that time? It feels like there must be some digital or physical trail that could be uncovered. Maybe someone on this forum with insights... ...View Post & Comment
Jenny wasn\'t last seen January 1st, 2003. January 1st is a placeholder used by agencies with the DLC isn\'t established. According to digital WA State archives, she signed a document on February 21st, 2003. https://digitalarchives.wa.gov/Record/View/21471D65AF332B25D06B48A9D21F76BD This was signed with a notary, so she had to be present and show ID.... ...View Post & Comment

Did anyone else notice the unusual circumstances around the location where Matthew was found? Preston Oaks Road is generally a busy area, especially near the Galleria Mall, even early in the morning. It's puzzling how no one saw or heard anything during the incident. Could it be that someone deliberately targeted him, knowing the area would seem safe and people wouldn’t expect something like this to happen there? It makes me think that whoever did this might have known his habits or schedule. ... ...View Post & Comment
Hello! this is his daughter, It happened about midnight on the road by the 7/11. People heard the shots. It was deliberate. We do not know who but my father had enemies. He had been dealing drugs. He also had a girlfriend who at the time had another boyfriend who found out about my dad. Still we have no information besides that it was a targeted homicide. He really was getting his act together towards the end. I was only 8 but I could tell he was seriously turning around. That’s why he was at ... ...View Post & Comment
