In the spring of 2019, concern began to grow for 56-year-old Dionno Herman Denby, a resident of Detroit, Michigan. His family had not heard from him in a couple of weeks, which was unusual for the devoted father. Dionno was last seen around noon on April 27, 2019, at his home on Carman Street. At the time of his disappearance, he was in the process of moving. The mother of his daughter was scheduled to help him move, but she was unable to get in touch with him. When she went to his house, Dionno's son informed her that his father had already moved out. This was puzzling to her, as she was supposed to be assisting him with the move. The days turned into weeks with no word from Dionno. His daughter, who was studying abroad at the time, returned home to the distressing news that her father was missing. The family's concern deepened, and they contacted the Detroit Police Department to request a welfare check. Authorities were told that it was highly uncharacteristic of Dionno to be out of contact, as he had never gone missing before. He was described as being in good physical and mental health. Physically, Dionno is a Black male, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and has a distinctive tattoo of a tiger or wolf with blue eyes on his left shoulder and arm. The investigation into Dionno's disappearance has left his family searching for answers. His phone reportedly remained on for a period of time after he went missing before it was eventually disconnected in late 2019, a detail his family finds perplexing. His daughter has expressed the profound impact of his absence, noting that he missed her college graduation and birthdays, events he would have never missed. The family has made public pleas for information, hoping that someone will come forward with any detail, no matter how small, that could help locate him. Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward for information leading to his whereabouts. As of now, the circumstances surrounding Dionno Denby's disappearance remain a mystery, and his case is still classified as an unsolved missing person case.
