In the autumn of 2019, a palpable sense of concern arose in a Memphis, Tennessee community when 12-year-old Grace Ann Morris was reported missing. She was last seen by her mother on the evening of Saturday, November 2, 2019, at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Black Birch. At the time of her disappearance, Grace was described as an African American girl, standing 5'6' tall and weighing 170 pounds, with sandy brown hair.
