On August 11, he was aboard the fishing vessel, the Arctic Trawler, in Dutch Harbor, a port located in the Aleutian Islands. At some point during the day, Mark disappeared from the boat under circumstances that remain unclear. He was a Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes, stood at five feet eleven inches tall, and weighed approximately 170 pounds.
