In the unforgiving waters of the Bering Sea, a tragedy unfolded on November 22, 1991, that led to the disappearance of 32-year-old Kenneth Gerard Krumal of Dillingham, Alaska. He was the skipper of the 94-foot crab fishing vessel, the Harvey G, which was navigating the treacherous seas approximately 100 miles north of Cold Bay.
