In the vast and unforgiving waters of the Bering Sea, a routine voyage turned into an enduring mystery in September 1993. Peter Soileau, a 35-year-old man from Dillingham, Alaska, was aboard the 58-foot crab fishing vessel, the Nettie H, when it vanished without a trace. The vessel, with its five-person crew, departed from King Cove, Alaska, with the intention of reaching Saint Paul Island.
