In the early hours of April 2, 2001, Jimmie Lee Conrad, a 24-year-old man from Dillingham, Alaska, vanished along with fourteen other crew members in the frigid waters of the Bering Sea. He was aboard the F/V Arctic Rose, a 92-foot fishing vessel, which tragically sank approximately 205 miles northwest of St. Paul Island.
